We were inspired by one of today’s most notable Filipina Mompreneurs, Reese Fernandez-Ruiz, President and Co-founder of Rags2Riches, as she shared her story about social entrepreneurship and women empowerment. Moms and kids joined the women of Rags2Riches at their Weaving workshop, and took home their personally-weaved purse! Finally, they learned some cupcake and succulent macaron decorating tips and tricks from Elise Lim, who received her culinary education from the acclaimed Ducasse Institute, was a stagiaire at École de Cuisine Alain Ducasse Paris, and is the owner of Elle’s Kitchen.
What’s a Mother’s Day celebration without a luxurious and elegant floral arrangement? Magnificent boxed flowers, bouquets, and floralscapes were offered by the most impressive florists and flower shops like Fiori di Marghi by Margarita Forés, Petalier, and Pacific Blooms. Dreamy home décor, linen, and accessories from The Olive Tree were also available at the Gift and Flower Fair at the South Court. As an added treat, Moms got a special Power Plant Mall Pamper Box!
