This March, The Rockwellist celebrates International Women’s Month with women who add flavor and depth to the Rockwell experience.

We ask these women 20 questions—some are light, some dare to go deep—with the hope of getting to know and learning from these inspiring, successful, and stylish women who are out to rock the world.

In this installment of Women Who Rock, get to know mompreneur and Cura V co-founder Kai Lim.

Q: What drove you to start your own business?

Kai: I wanted to be able to spend time with my kids as well as do something I enjoy for myself. I believe as mothers, we should never stop growing and learning. Together, my partners and I put up Cura V

Q; As someone who is successful in your field, how have you made a positive change for others, particularly for women?

Kai: I would like to think that Cura V gives opportunities to female designers and artisans by giving them a space to showcase their work.

Q: Would you say that the women in your industry are supportive of each other as a community? In what way?

Kai: Yes, definitely, especially working moms. It’s a strong support group bonded by our passions as mothers and entrepreneurs.

Q: What qualities/values make you a woman who rocks?

Kai: I am an eternal optimist. Always half full rather than half empty. I try to see the good in everything.
